Operations:
- Network Management:
- Design, implement, and manage CVTC’s network infrastructure.
- Ensure network reliability, performance, and security.
- Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Systems Administration:
- Maintain and support servers, including hardware and operating systems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform regular system backups and data recovery operations.
- Ensure system availability and performance through proactive maintenance and updates.
- Help Desk and Technical Support:
- Provide frontline technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Manage a ticketing system to track and prioritize support requests.
- Offer training and resources to help users effectively utilize technology.
- Monitor and respond to IT incidents promptly to minimize disruption.
- Cybersecurity:
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Protect CVTC’s data and systems from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability testing.
- Educate employees on best practices for data security and compliance.
- Software Development and Maintenance:
- Develop, test, and deploy custom applications and software solutions.
- Maintain and update existing software to ensure functionality and security.

- IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee CVTC’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components.
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of IT resources.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement of IT equipment and services.
- Data Management and Analytics:
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of CVTC data.
- Implement and manage databases and data storage solutions.
- Develop and maintain data analytics tools to support government intelligence initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and policies.
- Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they align with CVTC goals.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and risks.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership.
- IT Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement IT strategies that support CVTC's objectives.

- Cloud Services Management:
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
- Ensure secure and efficient migration to and from cloud platforms.
- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost management.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans utilizing cloud and on-premise solutions.
